Put Your Love To The Test

Introduction

Sometimes we have to know where our relationships are going and what are our expectations for the future. This test will help you to assess how much you love your bike because for sure it loves you.

Was your bike experienced when you first started seeing each other?
No, I was its first.
Yes, my bike had had previous relationships but I don't care! Previous relationships just makes it more wise.
Yes, and I find it very hard to accept my bike's relationship history.

Do you leave your bike outside at night?
Yes, actually I'm not even sure where my bike is most nights.
Yes, it's mean cos my back wheel's devoted to me - it follows me wherever I go!
No, outside!? What do you take me for? It's inside where I can keep on eye on it and touch it often.

How often do you "ride" your bike?
2 or 3 times a week, if I'm not too tired and don't have a headache.
Sometimes, but I still believe that the car takes me there more quickly. I know - it's totally illogical!
Every day! I love that funny feeling I get when I sit on it especially when I drive over the cobbles!

How often do you treat your bike?
Always, I like to make it look like a million dollars because that's what it's worth to me!
Sometimes, regular treats mean things go more smoothly between us.
Never, why should I when it stays with me anyway?

Do you look at the other bikes?
Sometimes, when my bike's not with me.
Hell no! My bike's always the most beautiful one on the rack anyway.
Always baby! I've got my eye on a really good one with huge wheels!

Do you dress up to see your bike?
No, I hate having to wear all that geeky stuff - padded shorts and trousers clips are not for me!
I dress to be seen when I'm with my bike - reflective everything!
I dress like the women in the Queen's "love to ride my bicycle" video. I feel it brings us closer.

Has your bike met your family?
I had a terrible feeling that my mum was riding it behind my back - so I don't let it near my family anymore.
Yeh it goes to the bike-shop with my dad and shopping with my mum.
My family all drive cars and so I don't know if they'd get along.

How do you see your future together?
We're thinking of getting a certificate of ownership together. If it gets a flat we might move in together!
It'll probably end up with someone else in the end, but it'll do for the mean time.
We'll soon be hearing the pitter patter of extra wheels when we decide it should become a tandom.
